Meet Amanda!

Amanda Mantzouranis – Group Fitness Trainer

Amanda is a movement enthusiast. She is a huge advocate for active aging and continued movement in life, especially in today’s increasingly sedentary lifestyle! Her belief system is that you don’t have to be master any one exercise, just keep moving!

Amanda grew up playing youth soccer, hiking and camping. In her twenties, she joined a local roller derby league where she competed nationally for 6 years. Upon her departure from Roller Derby she joined a local Aussie Rules Football league where she would spend the next 3 years competing in both co-ed tag and the women’s tackle team. These days she is exploring mobility and flow exercises.

Amanda enjoys being active outdoors as well as spending time with friends and family. She also enjoys learning new ways to keep her mind and body strong for today and the future!

What Sets Inspired Wellness Apart?
Many things come to mind, but what jumps out most to me is community. Community is such an important aspect to clients and trainers alike. I feel it helps with adherence to the longevity of an individuals health and wellness plan.

What is Your Overall Wellness Philosophy?
My overall wellness philosophy is KEEP MOVING! How we interpret exercise can be such a personal thing- pick what’s right for you at the time, just keep moving and stay active! If something no longer serves your wellness plan change it- There is an abundance of information out there!

Favorite Workout Tunes:
I generally work hardest to a good fast beat whether it be hip hop, pop, rock, etc. I like variety!

Latest Accomplishment:
Signing up for a ½ marathon. I have never considered myself a “runner” so I am diligently
working to change my physical and mental barriers in that aspect!

Teaching Style In 3 Words:
Evolving, Innovative, Constructive

Favorite Exercises:
Burpees! Full body and heart pumping!!

Hobbies:
Wood carving, backpacking, old house hunting, volunteering with Historicorp for historic
preservation.
