Meet Kody!

Kody Simpson – Trainer 

Kody has been in the health and wellness industry since his teens and has worked on developing his passion for health into a career while attending UC Davis for a BS in Exercise Biology. During his time there, he gained professional experience while obtaining professional corrective exercise, nutrition, massage and conditioning certifications from NASM, ACE, NSCA, and more. He’s currently attending CSU Chico for a MA in Kinesiology.

Kody specializes in maximizing performance while reducing pain. Kody has worked under athletic trainers, physical therapists, and in Human Performance Labs where he gained a deep appreciation for rehabilitating injuries first, then restoring athletes to their prime potential. Kody has worked with NCAA athletes, senior citizens, and regular gym patrons. During massage therapy school, he worked on many people to help them out of painful ailments.

He learned a plethora techniques and took advanced classes in Reflexology, Acupressure, Lymphatic Drainage, Kinesiology Taping, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, and Swedish techniques. His vast experience with clients prepares him for any challenge and he would love to work with you!

Kody comes from a powerlifting and martial arts background having trained with professional powerlifters and having competed in martial arts competitions. He can offer sport specific training or help craft up an effective and safe plan to reduce pain.

My favorite exercises involve anything where I’m picking up heavy things and putting them back down.

I enjoy martial arts and lifting heavy things.
