Lost 25lbs and committed to making healthy choices!

“On August 3, 2017, I began my fitness journey with Inspired Wellness.  At that time, I had been married 7 wonderful years, and had two sweet and cuddly little boys (ages 2 and 4), but my poor diet and lack of exercise caught up with me and I tipped the scales at 197 lbs.  This is the heaviest I have ever weighed and I felt sluggish and uncomfortable in my own skin.  I decided I needed to pay a little bit more attention to me so that I could be the best version of myself for my family, and on August 3rd I decided to make better choices.  I chose to go work out instead of sitting on the couch.  I chose to find balance in my diet and reduce the amount of sugar I was eating, and I continue to choose to be healthy and active.  

When I began my journey at Inspired Wellness a 10-lb. kettlebell was intimidating, and doing more than two pushups was painful, but I kept trying.  As much as it hurt and as sore as I was afterward, I knew I would benefit from the hard work.  Little by little it became easier, my strength and endurance increased, and so did my kettlebell weight.  I chose to push myself each exercise session and can now use a 25-lb. kettlebell for most exercises.  

My success could not have been possible without the amazing people at Inspired Wellness. The coaches are passionate about fitness and motivate you when you think you have nothing left. Christina is notorious for giving you heavier weight right in the middle of your exercise session because she sees something in you that you might not see yourself.  As much as I struggled, and still continue to struggle, I am committed to making better choices for my health, my meals and my family.”
