April 2019 Member Profile: Anysia Avila

Every month we feature our awesome members. They are inspirational, they rock and we wouldn’t be where we are without their continued support of our wellness movement. Our April Member Profile is Anysia!

What’s your favorite wellness quote?
“There is no one giant step that does it. It’s a lot of little steps.”

What are some of your favorite exercises?
Burpees! There are so many variations so I never get bored.

What motivates you to stay healthy?
My desire to play sports at a competitive level. I have been an athlete my entire life and I want to continue that path for a long time.

What do you do to stay balanced in your daily life (hobbies)?
Playing rugby and footy keeps me active and helps keep me maintain a healthy social life with my friends in those sports. I also really enjoy playing board games and D & D.

If this food/meal were the last available on Earth and you were the lucky recipient, what would it be?
Cheesy tater tots! Potatoes and cheese are two of my favorite foods.

What are three of your upcoming goals NOW, in one year and in five years?
Now: Win a national title with my rugby team. One year: Start taking classes part time. 5 years: Get my ultrasound technician license.

What are some songs currently on your playlist?
Happier by Marshmello, Badtille, Naked by Ella Mai, Thank You Next by Ariana Grande, As I am by H.E.R.

What do you do for fun locally?
I love going to bars and breweries to hang out with friends and drink good beer.

How has Inspired Wellness impacted your life?
It has given me the tools to live an overall healthier life.
