July 2019 Member Profile: Andrea Abergel

Every month we feature our awesome members. They are inspirational, they rock and we wouldn’t be where we are without their continued support of our wellness movement. Our July Member Profile is Andrea!

What’s your favorite wellness quote?
“There is no need to be perfect to inspire others, let others get inspired by how you deal with imperfections”.

What are some of your favorite exercises?
I like circuit/station type exercises, 2:30 per station with two moves and a cardio blast. The timing is great to do enough of a movement while also expansive to work many muscle groups.

What motivates you to stay healthy?
The way I feel when my clothes fit nicely and general energy while clean eating motivates me. I also like to see scale victories so that keeps me on track too.

What do you do to stay balanced in your daily life (hobbies)?
Spend time with friends, watch TV, hang out with my fur-children, picking up more reading, and the gym!

If this food/meal were the last available on Earth and you were the lucky recipient, what would it be?
Sushi ?

What are three of your upcoming goals NOW, in one year and in five years?
My three upcoming goals are to finish a marathon (by December), have healthy relationships, and pay off my student loans (within 3 years).

What are some songs currently on your playlist?
Currently listening to Odesza, and Lane 8, and also some pop country jams.

What do you do for fun locally?
I like to explore the new spots in Sacramento with friends. In the spring/ summer time, I like going to Concerts in the Park, the Gather events (food trucks), hanging out by the river, and spending the day in the sun!

Describe yourself in 3 words:
Driven, young-at-heart, time-maximizer.

How has Inspired Wellness impacted your life?
Inspired Wellness has helped me realize I am stronger than I thought. I was doing self-workouts before joining November 2017 and felt like I was not pushing myself hard enough. Through the classes, I know a lot more movements to do on my own and feel a great sense of community. It is great to see the same people going through the struggle together and motivating each other to do the hard work!
