Pumpkin Spice Protein Shake – Fed & Fit
Cassie Joy of Fed & Fit is just as warm and hilarious in-person as her Facebook live videos and blog posts. We were delighted to meet her at a book signing and learn more about her story, and why she’s passionate about creating recipes born from healthy ingredients that pack a 1-2 punch in the flavor department. Try this shake for a mix of pumpkin spice heaven and protein.

Creamy Cauliflower Soup & Rosemary Crackers – Practical Paleo (guest post by Ali and Her Almond Butter)
Diane Sanfilippo of Practical Paleo and Balanced Bites fame (check out the Balanced Bites podcast with Liz Wolfe and Diane – top notch) was one of the early pioneers in the treatment of chronic conditions made worse by inflammation from processed foods. She developed the “paleo bible” as many call it, Practical Paleo, over 5 years ago and to this day it’s a staple on our shelves. While we aren’t strict paleo 100% of the time (and neither is Diane – she’s an advocate of achieving balance for your own individual body as are we), we find ourselves picking up her recipe book at least a few times per week. Check out this delicious soup and cracker recipe. Side-note: we recently met Diane and she is just as witty, intelligent and charming as her online presence!

There you have it! Our top picks for November. If you enjoyed this recipe round up style blog post, please let us know in the comments so we can plan on bringing this to you each month!
