November 2018 Member Profile: Olivia!

Every month we feature our awesome members. They are inspirational, they rock and we wouldn’t be where we are without their continued support of our wellness movement. Our November Member Profile is Olivia!

What’s your favorite wellness quote?
“What’s coming will come, and we’ll meet it when it does.” – Rubeus Hagrid (reminds me not to worry about silly things)

What are some of your favorite exercises?
I am a big fan of planks, I love pushing myself just 10 more seconds! I also love how curls, flys, and rows make me love the arm strength I’ve built at IW!

What motivates you to stay healthy?
My immediate motivation is that I’m getting married in June 2019. After that,  I just want to be my healthiest self to enjoy everything I can, like married life!

What do you do to stay balanced in your daily life (hobbies)?
The most important thing I do is listen to my body. Sometimes it says I need the hamburger, other times just a snack in a  chai and apple. I do the same with workouts; sometimes my body says it needs a big workout, other times it says it just needs fresh air and a walk with the pup. When my mind needs a break, I love to play board games and card games for 1, 2, 4 or more people! If you ever want to chat games, hit me up!

If this food/meal were the last available on Earth and you were the lucky recipient, what would it be?
I can never say no to mac N cheese, no matter if it’s out of the box or something fancy, it is always my favorite.

What are three of your upcoming goals NOW, in one year and in five years?
My upcoming goal is to start grabbing the 25lb dumbbells and make it through the workout. My goal for the coming years is to maintain this level of fitness!

What are some songs currently on your playlist?
Sweet but Psycho by Ava Max. California by Childish Gambino. Boom by Tiesto (never gets old).

What do you do for fun locally?
I am a fanatic with my garden; I spend a few hours there each week. Outside the house, I love to try new breweries and wineries in the area with my pup and fiance. Our favorite places are Bike Dog, LowBrau, and
Biergarten.

How has Inspired Wellness impacted your life?
IW taught me that wellness is a journey, not just the workouts but a lifestyle of many healthy choices, taking breaks, and listening to your body.
